Adapting your design to web deployment

Adapting

Adapting the mobile version of the app to a web version was not as challenging as I thought as the only things that had to be done is make everything bigger and more spread out so that it takes up much more space on the screen and not left with much blank areas

Changes

The changes I have done to this app are that I have had to merge the pages together as there was not enough content to fill the blank areas and I thought this would be a much more effective way to use the space provided, I could have changed the resolution of the images and functions however this would be completely unnecessary to have large buttons

Challenges faced

The challenges I have faced in making my design compatible with the web are that I have had to fill areas of the page with larger images so that the user can see the items much more clear and making the visibility as best as possible

Future ideas

My future ideas for this app is add much more items and timed events so that the user has to engage in the app with a minimum spent time in the app and bring the user in each time there is something new introduced into the game

Research

I have viewed many web based apps which compare to their mobile app sector and have found many examples have to scale their graphics down a lot to match the performance of the hardware used

Other research I have found that the web based editions are much more complex in the sense that there is a lot more area to be adding improvement such as UI design having a much more free canvass to use considering the resolution is much higher
